Can I Play Too? By: Mo Willems

About: Follow Piggy and Gerald on another fun and funny adventure. A snake comes along and wants to know if he can play with Gerald and Piggy. What will happen as they all decide to play catch?

What Kids Love: This book has fun illustrations and is laugh out loud funny!

What Parents Love: I have to say Mo Willems is one of my all time favorites! He is so great at taking a simple idea and turning it into gold. This book is just so funny! We love to read it at my house over and over again. As always Mo's illustrations are so much fun to look at and so expressive. This book also offers some great problem solving ideas.

Rate: A must, must have (Fun for the whole family)!

I Need My Monster By: Amanda Noll Illustrated by: Howard Mcwilliam

About: Ethan can not sleep without his monster under his bed and since his monster Gabe has gone fishing he must find another monster so he can sleep. After many other monster's visit Ethan realizes there just isn't another Gabe.

What kids love: This book is filled with beautiful illustrations and so much fun for four year olds and up. My son enjoys looking at all the different monster's and what is special about them. This book makes him laugh and he loves to hear it over and over again.

What Parents Love: Honestly I was a little nervous to read this book to my son as he has been having some issues with fear's. I thought this book might make it worse. However, this book has been the answer for us! This book has seemed to put his fears to rest. This book is a fun read with beautiful pictures.

Rate: A must, must have especially if your child is having any kind of fears!

I Met a Moose in Maine One Day By: Ed Shankman Illustrated by: Dave O'Neill

About: A boy who not only meets a Moose, but also have an adventure with him.

What Kids Love: The pictures are colorful and the story is so much fun. Follow this little boy and a moose all through Maine.

What Parents Love: It is a cute story with beautiful illustrations and a must have for anyone who lives or vacations in Maine! You and your child are sure to love reading this book and as an added bonus you get to learn a little about Maine.

Rate: A must have for anyone living or vacationing in Maine and for everyone else I would still recommended this book as it really is a cute story.

The Grumpy Easter Bunny By: Justine Korman Illustrated by: Lucinda McQueen

About: Hopper doesn't feel like he should have to work all year long making treats and then deliver them. So one year he decides not to deliver the treats, but to eat them instead. Will Hopper learn the true meaning of Easter by the end of this book?

What kids love: Well one thing kids love are bunnies and candy which appear on most of the pages. The pictures are eye pleasing and the story is engaging.

What parents love: This story reminds us all that it is always better to give than to receive. Hopper learns that working all year to make treats and then to give them out isn't so awful, but it is actually wonderful.

Rate: I say borrow from the library

About: This book tells us all about the different parts an animal has and what they do with them. Starting from the page full of tails your child can guess what animal they are looking at. Once they turn the page they will discover if their guess was correct along with fun facts about how the animal uses their tail. Continue on from nose right down to feet.

What kids love: Kids enjoy guessing what animal they are looking at and what the animal uses it for. The story is full of fun facts that leads to lots of talking. The pictures are colorful and beautiful done.

What parents love: Our children learn all kinds of wonderful things without a fight. This book makes learning so much fun and helps us to get talking to our kids about the different animals that live in the world with us. An extra bonus is that we learn right along with our kids. This book offers up fun facts and as the child grows it has even more information at the end of the story about each animal to really learn about either your favorite or all of them.

Rate: A must, must have. I love how this book is done. It really engages children and holds their interest!

Too Many Toys By: David Shannon

About: Spencer has lots and lots of toys. So many that they are becoming a household hazard so Spencer's mother decides that it is time to get rid of some toys. Will Spencer let go of any of his much beloved toys?

What kids love: This book is fun for kids because they can relate to it. They love seeing and hearing about all of Spencer's toys, because they love toys! This book also makes my son laugh on a few of the pages.

What parents love: It will help us when it comes time to get ride of some of our kids toys. We will be able to say remember how Spencer had to get rid of some of his toys because he had too many, well it is time for you to do the same. This book is funny, but also offers an important lesson; that more is not necessarily best.

Rate: A must have for anyone who wants their child to get rid of some toys

About the book: Follow ducky as he learns how to use the potty from him good friend piggy.

What kids love: I used this book when my son was learning how to use the potty. It has simple text, colorful pictures and is easy to understand.

What parents like: The book really gets kids motivated to use the potty. It is a short and simple book that really helps kids to understand about using the potty.

Rate: A must have for potty training!

We Are in a Book By: Mo Willems

About the book: Gerald and Piggy are so excited to be in a book, but once Gerald realizes the book is going to end they must come up with a plan fast.

What kids love: This book is so much fun and so funny. My son loves that he gets to be part of this book and laughs so much when we read this book.

What parents love: This book gets are kids wanting to read and to continue to want to read more and more. Also as most Mo Willems books they are so funny and so much fun to read.

Overall: A must, must have! It is a cheap book to buy that gets everyone laughing and having fun, while instilling the fun of reading to our kids.

A Visitor for Bear By: Bonny Becker Illustrated by: Kady McDonald Denton

About the book: Follow a grumpy bear who does not want anyone to visit his home and the mouse who just wont take no for an answer.

What kids love: This book will get your kids laughing as mouse continues to find a way into bear's house. The story is a lot of fun for them. My son has me read this book over and over to him and each time he laughs a little bit more than the time before.

What parents love: It is a fun and funny story to read and who doesn't love to hear their child/children laugh. This story also teaches us that we should treat everyone kindly because you just never know when you may find a friend.

Rate: A must, must have :)

Wherever You Are: My Love Will Find You By: Nancy Tillman

My favorite book. I just bought this book for my son and I will never get tired of reading it! The message of love is on every page. A wonderful story that tells our children that we will always love them and be with them along with encouraging them to be and do what they want. It doesn't matter if they climb a mountain or swim in the ocean because the love we have for our children will always find them.

What kids love: It is a sweet reassuring story with fun pictures.

What parents love: Everything

Rate: A must, must, must have! This is a wonderful story to read to your child everyday!

Bottom line: Go out and buy it today! You wont regret it, but you will thank me!
